'To commemorate 25 years of in-patient Hospice services (30 years since inception) a program called 'Silver footprints....' was organised on the 17th of March 2017 at The Music Academy, Chennai. Dr. Shantha, Chairperson of WIA Cancer Institute, Adyar, who was the Chief Guest spoke about the milestones and the applauded the services of Jeevodaya. The highlight of the program was a documentary on Jeevodaya directed by Ms. Priya which had the emotional reach of the audience. The grand finale was when the entire Jeevodaya family... each and every member who had served Jeevodaya in any capacity.... were invited on stage... and stood in silence holding a lamp, with the entire hall in darkness as the. Jeevodaya anthem composed by Dr. Udaya Mahadevan played in the background.
